I've never had to queue really (always voted after parents finish work, and now after I do). Only time I ever had to wait was the indyref, the guy in the foreground was Not Happy I had made it to the polling station early enough to be first!

I work next to my local polling booth. My office window directly looks out onto the entrance. It's busy and there is a lady with a big blue ribbon on her chest that quite a lot of people are ignoring when they walk past her.

Voted first thing this morning before heading to work, the polling station was totally empty which was nice. I'm in a rock solid Tory constituency but every vote counts I guess.

Man, I feel cheated as I voted for Labour (in a constituency that needs an 8% swing for Labour to win) weeks ago by post. As another "youg'uns" anecdote to keep that last sliver of hope alive, my daughter said her stupidly large facebook set of friends are pretty much all engaged and virtually zero Tories, with anyone stepping out of line getting dogpiled or excommunicated. Warmed my heart it did.

Yeah, I think this is why this is gonna hurt far more than 2010 or 2015 - this is the first time since 97* when I didn't feel like I was just voting for the lesser of two evils. *Don't laugh, alright? At the time it felt that way.

Guys remember if a tory activist comes and talks to you today, take up their time. It's satisfying to tell them to shove it up they arse, and if you're in a rush go for it, but better is to be like "oh look at that! the family are just on whatsapp now, we're deciding who to vote for, it's a bit confusing this election, do you want a cup of tea?" Keep them there for as long as possible, play dumb, then at the end tell them you're definitely going to vote tory to mess up their numbers.

I'm going to my local polling station which has been put right in the middle of a sink estate. My neighbour Curley was very disappointed that there were no "Tory Wankers" there because he'd taken his dogs down with him. If the police don't get called today I will be very suprised, if the polling station isn't set on fire if May wins I will be shocked.

Got my vote in, in a 6000 Tory majority after the Lib Dem collapse fed them an increased majority in 2015. Lot of school friends on FB are all about Labour, but the poll station was empty, so who knows man.

I'd probably say I was voting Labour and to shove it up their rear end anyway after wasting a full hour. Popping in to say good morning and good luck to all you UKMT people. I can't vote, and legally barred from political exercise anyway until I quit my super lovely job so I hope you guys have made up for my slack. Good luck, and remember that we're still getting a tory majority. I'll see you all on Discord at around midnight for binge drinking since we're doing a shot every time the tories get a seat!
