I saw a bunch of old people walking down to the polling station this morning, the old man told my daughter she was too young to vote (she is 4) and looked pleased when I said that she would be coming to watch me vote in a little while. I'm going to have to vote SNP, there's no way the Labour candidate is going to get in here and that might be the best thing for him seeing as the only thing I've managed to find out about him was that he called someone a fat bastard and ran away at the local hustings.

there was an irate lady in my polling station (islington south & finsbury) that theresa may wasn't an option on her voting slip. this is Emily thornberrys seat so it's a safe as houses Labour seat but jfc how do you reach such a ripe old age and not understand how the electoral system works.

A short text conversation seems to have diverted my brother away from the Tories and I'll be voting for Labour later today. We're both in safe seats meaning all I've done is make the % infitesimally better but there we go. Congrats to everyone who's actually gone out there and engaged with the general public over this, I've been poo poo at that.
