My mum's ok, but my sister had to emotionally blackmail my dad into voting Labour by saying "think of your two-year-old grandchild's future". Voted at about 9:30 here. Somewhat concerned as Labour only had a 650 vote lead last time, the area voted massively for UKIP then and Brexit last year, and the MP voted against Article 50.

Just got back from the polling station. Absolutely no one in there but I guess that's to be expected and a lot of people won't turn up until after work. Cadiff South and Penarth has always been Labour and I'm confident it'll stay labour at least.

Have spoken to Mum, she voted Tory because she really hates farmers and wants them to stop getting free money for owning land and doing sod all with it while our business has had to pay out the ear in rates on our property that actually contributes to society (jobs etc.). Coincidentally all of her side of the family are farmers.

11:30am voter reporting in. Glasgow Central. Polling station wasn't dead, but not busy—hope that it picks up at lunchtime. Voted for the jam man, even though it won't make a difference here because the SNP have fooled everyone into thinking they're some kind of socially progressive left party (Tartan Tories, anyone...?) #allotmentsforeveryone

Polls are saying labour's elbowed its way into quite a poor second place in Scottish voting intention. I do wonder whose lunch they'll be eating, whether they're chiefly clawing back lefties from the SNP or soft unionists from the tories.

Voted. Had to drive past 2 polling stations to go and fetch one of the kids from Nursary, and the polling station I voted at was very busy when I went in and busy when I drove past it again 15 minutes later. Both times it was busier than the referendum, but that means nothing. The other polling station I drove past was equally busy. There could be a high turnout for this GE, what that means re vote share god knows.

Just voted for my Labour candidate! I also confirmed it. The address for every single candidate on my ballot was in my local area, EXCEPT the Tory candidate who did indeed live in a rich area of London 58 miles away. No wonder they are out of touch.
