Someone just started buying them for people at random in a thread where rovert was getting poo poo on a few years ago. There's a couple of different colours, I've just never bothered changing it. Edit: I'm pretty sure I didn't make fun of him so I think the criteria was just "be in the thread that's making GBS threads on him" At least he's not DM "when is Kharma going to just suck it up and get over her miscarriage, geez" Punk.

Foreigner here: can someone explain what happens in the event that neither party gets an absolute majority of seats? Does that mean the need to form a coalition government? And are the SNP (as the biggest third party, from what I can tell) most likely to side with Labour in that case, or is that not relevant at all?

They can join together as a coalition (as happened in 2010) or one of the parties can attempt to govern as a minority and rely on making ad-hoc deals with other parties so they can get stuff done and not lose the confidence of parliament.

Tory society today is about getting people to participate in such a high stakes game through mortages/investments/tuinion fees/visa fees etc that they become trapped in the status quo by their own fear of change, and that's heartbreaking.
