Voted for free jam making degrees at universities, now getting nicely sloshed on Kentucky bourbon and playing GTA Online with my crew. As usual, I'll get a good night's sleep then get the result by checking the title on this thread. I did it for 2015 and Brexit, it's a tradition now.

JeremoudCorbynejad posted:Does every thread have a pissflaps? Is he a loving franchise or something Rovert ended up here because he's literally banned on every other wrestling related forum on the internet. Anyone with an RXT avatar got them because they made fun of him over the space of one weekend, when some random mystery poster bought something like 40 av's all at once. There's like 6 variations of them.

Someone just started buying them for people at random in a thread where rovert was getting poo poo on a few years ago. There's a couple of different colours, I've just never bothered changing it. Edit: I'm pretty sure I didn't make fun of him so I think the criteria was just "be in the thread that's making GBS threads on him" At least he's not DM "when is Kharma going to just suck it up and get over her miscarriage, geez" Punk.

Foreigner here: can someone explain what happens in the event that neither party gets an absolute majority of seats? Does that mean the need to form a coalition government? And are the SNP (as the biggest third party, from what I can tell) most likely to side with Labour in that case, or is that not relevant at all?

They can join together as a coalition (as happened in 2010) or one of the parties can attempt to govern as a minority and rely on making ad-hoc deals with other parties so they can get stuff done and not lose the confidence of parliament.

Guavanaut posted:That first one is actually true though. We shouldn't have a two tier system for Europe and quite another for Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Ideally the policy should be overall fairer for all rather than telling everyone to gently caress off or privileging one. I get that, it just doesn't make any sense as an argument against free movement. Also it was at the front of mind today since my *in Tim Farron Voice* Indian Friend at work said he wouldn't vote for Corbyn on the grounds that he might still allow free movement for Eurpeans while non-Europeans like him had to pay through the nose. Tory society today is about getting people to participate in such a high stakes game through mortages/investments/tuinion fees/visa fees etc that they become trapped in the status quo by their own fear of change, and that's heartbreaking.

And are the SNP (as the biggest third party, from what I can tell) most likely to side with Labour in that case, or is that not relevant at all? well they don't in the strictest sense "have" to. in theory, if say three totally diametrically opposed parties got an equal number of seats and were totally incompatible one would try to form a government, two would vote no confidence, we'd have another election. in a practical sense though, no one with enough seats to form at least part of a government wants to stay out of government
