It's also worth mentioning that apart from genuine NAZI leaning UKIP Councillors or Tim Fallon (who is a devout bible basher) no one hates the gays. There used to be a joke that the only reason the Conservatives kept homosexuality illegal was so they could feel naughty as they hosed other men.

Well, he's a candidate from a well established political party https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_Monster_Raving_Loony_Party It's a very expensive joke that has been running for decades, if you don't hit a threshold (1% or something) of the potential electorate in your given constituency then you lose your deposit (£500.) They almost always lose it.

Looking at the state of British politics, where hubris caused their version of the Reds to resort to joining with a terrorist organization to keep clinging to power, and comparing it to the US... I can say comfortably they they are still in better shape. And that's accounting for part of the competition being a Sesame Street character, a Nazi, the Monster Raving Loony Party and Lord Buckethead. Pretty sure, though it may have taken 240+ years, they can truly see that they got the better end of the Revolutionary War.

I'm listening to this trump presser on radio and he's lost his goddamned mind somebody just no ballsed him into saying he's 100% willing to testify under oath and is rambling about tapes again right now. Also confirms his commitment to article v if everyone pays their bills. Also says "Comey confirmed everything I've been saying and a lot of his testimony simply wasn't true"

I'm going to throw the idea of term and age limits out there again. And I know Vasudus is going to jump on me on how that creates a brain drain of experienced politicians in government so I'll put it this way: do we really want the poo poo they're doing now being taught to junior politicians? And do we really need anybody 70+ making policies with reach far beyond their death?

Term limits are absolutely retarded but after watching a few elected officials become shambling husks in their final terms maybe this is something worth discussing.

Which will inevitably turn into people above the age of 60+ (or whatever arbitrary number) being disenfranchised. That's how dictatorships start. I like the idea, but we can't have nice things without someone eventually loving it up.
