It sounds like a fair number of the people who were strongly against Corbyn in labor are actually really happy to admit they were totally wrong right now.

Just for a second imagine if Corbyn hadn't been given the bare minimum of nominations for the leadership election and we'd ended up instead with a choice of Cooper, Kendall, the other one, and a randomly selected 4th Blairite.
Just imagine how last night would have turned out. Labour could actually be dead this morning if everything else had played out the same but with a Blairite in charge.

it was pointed out previously that a Corbyn slump would be good for pushing reselection reform; by the same token a narrow loss and a seat surge means that reselection is going to be really, really tricky to push through, if at all

Well no, because we saw the enthusiasm that people had for the Blairite candidates - that is to say none at all. They were never going to engage the electorate in the same way that this manifesto and this leader has, and that's self evident because they lost election after election, starting with Milliband, and progressing through two leadership challenges with nothing but vague platitudes and parroting tory pledges. Their whole deal was playing it safe and guarding the flame of Blairism. Labour would have been eaten alive last night if that had gone into a GE.

A reptile dysfunction
Winning on the 2015 map was near impossible. While the majority wasn't huge there also wasn't a great deal of marginals to play for.

The 2017 map on the other hand is wide open for a good Labour victory now. If we get an early election then barely losing this one might be a blessing if we can get a far more solid victory out of it

Especially wrt the terror attacks in which they would have literally told everyone that they would be worse and that whatever response the Tories had by god they'd try the same thing, but just be a bit poo poo at the execution of it.

Bit pointless this. Labour would have muddled along in a similar vein to the last decade instead of the PLP trying to destroy everything to spite Corbyn. Their polling wouldn't have been in the dumpster, and May wouldn't have called the election at all.
