Sleeping with my girlfriend is like purgatory most nights. My cycle is that I spend 2-3 nights each week not sleeping because of her sleep-talking, fidgeting and farting, spend a couple nights sleeping soundly because I'm so exhausted, and then once I'm well rested it's back to the routine of being woken up every hour. Sometimes I retreat to the sofa for some peace, but then she comes and kicks me awake at 4am and asks why I left her alone lol
Having separate beds/bedrooms is definitely a pro-strat.

Glad it's not just me with this exact scenario. I'll go one further that mine starts sleep earlier and so stomps around getting ready at 5am.

3M 1100s. They're magic. I wear them to bed Fri/Sat nights to deal with the pub up the road. Squeeze them up into a hard cylinder before you insert them, else they won't sit deep enough (a lot of people mess this up and think earplugs are useless).

Usually I sleep just fine, but when it's summer and she's in heat her body temp rises to that of a medium-well steak and I have to retreat to the sofa-bed in case I literally stew in my own juices

It completely varies for me, some people I've slept perfectly with and some it's a nightmare.

I can tell I'm getting old because "what's she like in bed" now means 'pretty good, doesn't hog the duvet and seamlessly self-regulates with a single leg above the covers if it's warm' instead of kinky funtimes.

So the numbers have been crunched, the entries for the election book were as follows:

As Acting Returning Officer for the UKMT I therefore declare Sebzilla to be the winner of the UKMT 2017 election book.

All entrants should donate £5 (plus however much extra you feel is appropriate) to The Samaritans and frankly anybody who chuckled at Ober's prediction should probably also donate, possibly £69 or some other amusing number, to them too.

Interestingly (excluding Ober's predictions) the mean for the entries was:

CON: 320.75
LAB: 250.25
LD: 5.5
Other: 68.58333333

making us collectively considerably closer to the final result than most of the pollsters.

Tell me if you're getting bored of these.

My dad's mate's meltdown on facebook posted:

In the next UK general election I predict that the UK as a whole will be at tipping point. Once it goes over that point, it will never recover.
When you have a socialist leader that promises everyone, everything and deluded people believe him and give him their vote. Not caring to think where the money comes from, just as long as they get their "free stuff" then we are getting closer to that tipping point.
Like in the case of the 100s of 1000s of people on benefits who have never worked a day in their life and are more than capable to work, but just don't work. Yet think it's an outrage that they (on the social) cannot get more than £24,000 per year for being nothing.
It's because of these that both the genuine needy and the greedy are lumped in together and services for the genuine are cut. These people who want the "free stuff" and the genuine needy who have had their help cut will also vote for him.
When your party supports mass, uncontrolled immigration and those immigrants have huge families also vote for this man. Because Britain is the land of milk and honey where you get the "free stuff". Because giving "free stuff" gets you votes.
Just like in the case of the students who were promised "free" education tuition at a cost of 11bn, then student loans at a cost of £30bn all will be paid for by the magic money tree of labour will vote for the party that offers them the "free stuff" also.
When you have left wing teachers and lecturers who promote their left wing socialist ideology to the impressionable youth, you are preparing the next generation of potential labour voters looking "free stuff" because it's an entitlement they think they should have.
When you have left wing unions pushing for £10 (min wage) per hour for all workers that will cause mass unemployment because small businesses just couldn't afford it and would close up. Causing less tax raising, causing even more problems for the country.
When you have a party that complains about the waiting times in the health service yet suppports mass uncontrolled immigration. Yet doesn't care that all these extra people are going to deplete the health service that we paid for.
In 3 years (1997-2000) 3,6 million (1.2 million a year) migrants came to the UK, and the NHS had to deal with this influx who all wanted "free stuff".
So to sum it up.
Socialism is only great and will only work when you have someone else's money to spend.
Everything has to be paid for and priorities have to be made. But the people voting for the magic money man don't care about minor details like that. They just want their "free stuff" like always before.
This is why, when you have a magic money man who is a lunatic and offers everyone, everything. There will always be the deluded ones who believe him and will give him their vote. Then the country will never recover from the edge because genuine workers will just stop working as it doesn't pay.
The small businesses will close up because of the cost of wages.
The NHS will turn into emergency treatment only due to the millions of extra people coming here to get the "free stuff".
Taxes will fall because the youth won't be working because they will be spending a generation in education because it's better than working, and after all, they get loads of "free stuff".
When you have more people taking from the country than there are contributing to it, we're on a slippy slope that we will never recover from.
Remember the piper must always be paid in the end.
