Strong oratory skills are incredibly important, I totally agree. I had deleted something in there where I acknowledged that optics are important, so we're on the same page there, just got lost in an edit cuz I'm splitting my attention between the hearing and poasting on the interdnet. Can't always judge a book by its cover, but an ugly cover never helps.

Every member of the committee, so it's 50/50. And the chair and vice chair get double the time, but that's one of each party.

(actually I think it's +1 R on this committee because, you know, odd number.)
