Isn't Les the guy who thought he was dating a lesbian because he refused to have a frank conversation with her? I guess showing off your oral sex skills at dinner with your uncle is one way to avoid that situation again.

Or maybe he's a poorly written, inconsistent character!

I forgot Les was the name of a character in Luann and thought we were talking about Funky Winkerbean for a moment. Now that would've been a great plot...

Most likely outcome at this point is that the mangeek is a no show and they just dance around a long distance relationship because comic strips are terrible and comic strips headed by an insufferable nerd who I would not hesitate to dump his books are even worse

I'll be honest; I didn't even realize that Working Daze was an Adam West tribute, because a) Zakour usually gets the tribute out the day after, and b) he didn't have Adam West beaming up onto the Enterprise.

It was surprisingly subtle. I was expecting something much worse. I actually think it was a good concept for a tribute, but as usually pretty poorly executed.

I think what took so long is they were on vacation or something and were in rerunning old stuff so they had to make a special effort to get this one in.
