But what about what I want? I am perfectly capable of being alone, I just choose not to out of love for him.

I am quite conflicted as I do love my SO very much and it hurts me to think of giving up on him. I know this doesn't necessarily have to be the be all end all. But, it's very hard for me to bring myself to give up on him completely. Especially when he is bent on being the right person for me, a good person.

I understand that no one can make the decision except for myself. But I love my family very much... and I love my SO very much. I don't want to lose my family, but I don't want to lose my SO either. I just want to know if there is a way I can resolve this peacefully so that my family and my SO can co-exist peacefully again like before. Before this week, they were all quite friendly with one another.

I know I sound ridiculous, but I know I am safe. I know I am loved by my family and my SO. I just don't want a divided household.

tl;dr: SO has history of abuse, family found out, they don't want me to see him anymore and rightfully so. SO has changed and I really want everyone to work this out with me. I don't want to lose anyone I love. I truly believe in the good in everyone. Basically, I want to figure out how I can keep every single important person in my life.

I have no idea why it isnt enough? I know I sound crazy. And im like really feeling bad about it. I just feel like i should dump him because i need to be first and i cant really accept his daughter. I know i neber will. So its better for me and him for me to just go. I dont have to be a jealous crazy gf and can find someone that doesn't have a kid. And he can find someone who loves and accepts his kid.

Edit:I decided im moving out tomorrow . Im glad his kid came over and stayed for summer break because thats what really gave me that push to just end the relationship. I cant stand being around his kid. Its better for everyone this way.
