There's a type of evaporative cooler that sprays concentrated brine through the air to dry it, then fresh water through to cool it, then brine again to dry the cool air. Those are good and cool. If you're refusing to do it for yourself then I guess you'll have to let yourself go home? Also according to the weather app on my phone, the real feel was 47° here last week.

I have through blind luck today off. I also just got a call from Evans to say my replacement bike (last one got nicked) was ready to pick up. This would involve a long ride on a bus, followed by having to ride it home in the hottest part of the day. Fuuuuucckkkkkkk that. I told the bloke 'I'll pick it up tomorrow evening'.
