I used to only drink whole but transitioned to semi-skimmed and now whole feels like chugging cream.

Skimmed milk is some garbage trash drink though.

Evaporative coolers only work well in 'dry' heats. 'Dry' as in 'desert'. The UK is not dry. Here, you need something that vents to the outside. These are unfortunately more expensive - a couple of hundred quid at the least. Check eBay for possible discounts.

In the meantime, just buy a fan.

I remember seafood pizza being a thing when I was young but haven't seen one for years.

Tesco does a smoked salmon fillet with a sweet chilli marinade and it is incredibly tasty. Horrifically expensive so I don't get it much but it is really good with scrambled eggs.

Window units are the best if you have sash windows, then after that the ones with wheels. All the others need plumbing and :gas:ing.

Alternatively get a bucket of ice, some equipment fans, and a hole saw.

Good god no. OK, the short days get a bit much, but in summer this far north it's not quite perpetual daylight, but it also never gets darker than twilight. Meanwhile in winter I can go out at 5pm & just stare at the stars and god they are so pretty. It's not so funny when you live in the city, but oddly for person with depression I tend to get it worse in the end of summer, start of autumn than I do in the depths of winter. But people who do have SAD, obviously it's balls.
I used not to mind it so much, but after having kids it's genuinely hard because it really limits what you can do and they go stir-crazy. Especially if you live in a tiny shoebox in the middle of nowhere, like me.
