As poo poo as Maybot is, her strategy of "pointedly do nothing and hope the problem solves itself or becomes someone else's problem" would probably be less damaging to the Tories here compared to immediately surrendering considering there's probably another GE coming that would let them outsource the surrendering to noted anti-British Eurocommie weakling Jeremy Corbyn. By which I mean we should send Davis Davis to Brussels more often.

What were the crib notes? pretty much what's been said over the last few days: the cladding wasn't actually banned for use, the council were warned time and time again about problems with the building and a series of excruciating interviews with the council leader where he repeatedly dodged answering any questions. Still, he fronted up when May didn't. There were two things that stuck out aside from the firefighter footage I linked earlier: the council thought it was a good idea to house someone with a disability on the twentieth loving floor, and some footage taken by a bystander of someone at the very top of the building signalling with either a torch or his phone and now I'm all

I'm sure we'll get a great deal for Brit- quote:British negotiators have capitulated to key European demands for a phased approach to Brexit talks, agreeing to park discussions on free trade until they have thrashed out the cost of the multibillion-euro UK divorce settlement. If you're really struggling to sleep and you have a decent head of hair wet it under the shower and go to sleep like that. Downside is you'll need to change your pillowcase a lot more often. Worked for me when I got stuck in a tiny ground-floor hotel room in Cologne in the baking heat. No air-con and the room was right outside the spot where all the hotel staff went for their fag breaks so opening the window would have immediately given me about eight different kinds of cancer. That was not a pleasant night Edit: pro-tier variation: get a damp towel and put that over the pillow then lie on it; it will hold the water a lot longer (but make your pillow correspondingly wetter) Zephro fucked around with this message at 22:26 on Jun 19, 2017 |

Actually i dunno if it's widely known but there's a cinema in the dockyard called Studio 6 or something. They only show one film a night but it tends to be more interesting older or foreign films. It's rarely more than half full so you always get a good seat, and it's much better than the lovely chain cinema at Gunwharf. E: No.6 Cinema. It's also cheaper and they do a loyalty scheme so you can get in free every now and then. communism bitch fucked around with this message at 22:29 on Jun 19, 2017 |
