when i was 19 i interviewed at a chilis restaurant and they gave me a job in the kitchen 5 minutes in because i was able to explain the difference between a franchies and a corporate chain restaurant. like the manager was legit suprised i guess this was a difficult question for a lot of people then a bunch of hurricanes hit the area, this was polk county florida, before i even showed up for my first day and i moved to the west coast and will never return to florida again

For those not in the know, they hire like 200 people and then cut it down to like 60 after the first weekend. I had never worked in a resturaunt before, but I quit 3 years later. I suspect it was because I wasn't high as gently caress that first weekend, and could follow basic instructions.
