In case anyone is unaware the Shelley bit is from Masque of Anarchy which is an ode to non-violent resistance written following the Peterloo massacre. It's a section that was also quoted by Ghandi in speeches. The basic message is to stand firm and resolute as the attacks of the Few fall upon you - although there will be bloody losses among the Many they will bring only shame and disgrace to the enemy. Not a bad metaphor for Corbyn's political career really.

There's a building in Salford I used to go past on the way to work that has the Shelley bit on the windows. It always gave me a bit of a shiver just reading it and when I heard Corbyn saying it in a speech it was loving incredible.

RTJ were great, but a full 1/3 of the crowd left after Corbyn, either to see him at left field or for kaisers, so I don't think it's possible to overemphasise quite how many people were there just for him. Amazing.
