I will say that I'm probably too quick to rule out live music at like, a jazz club or in a sit-down concert hall or just some local folks playing trad music in the pub, insofar as I wouldn't want to go see those but I can at least comprehend some aspect of the appeal. Your typical gig is utterly and deeply baffling to me though.

I mean when a politician says "as soon as I can" they generally mean "as soon as I can without getting career endingly savaged over it" which kind of carries implied political acceptability.

I went to a wedding in Denmark this weekend between an Anglo-German and a Dane raised in Luxembourg, and all the speeches included dunking on Britain for how stupid Brexit is (except for mine because I couldn't work in any good jokes that hadn't already been told by the time I was on). It was a great night and a great wedding, and as it turned out the groom's brother's in-laws were pro-Leave. They lodged a "formal complaint" against the toastmaster before storming off in a huff at 10:30 while the rest of the European melting pot of guests partied til 4 in the morning. It was glorious.

The thing is they already went all-in on attacking Corbyn in the last election, blasting every attack line from every media outlet constantly. Unless something new somehow comes to light all of these attacks are priced-in. Any danger would come from the Tories getting it together, not from the same old tried and failed attack lines against Corbyn.

The Tories credibility is shot while detractors within the party are wary of his supporters, are benefiting from his popularity, have far fewer allies and no objective in sight. He has good will to burn. The worry is that this is his zenith, I wouldn't bet on it though, Brexit is coming. Maybe a better line would have been no one has got rich betting against him in the last two years.
