That's why I have a hip flask at all times.

Kinda nit-picky, but this would behave differently with a hard stop behind the flask/cucumber. Right now, some of the energy goes into accelerating the flask, which wouldn't happen if it were in your pocket. More of the energy (not a ton more, mind you) would go into penetration.

Probably most important with the second bullet, since it was very close to penetration anyhow. The small difference between a massive target (you) and a lightweight target might have made the difference. Then again, a full flask would offer better protection, and I can't begin to estimate which effect would be greater.

When I read the headline of that ITS A PRANK story I thought "another life tragically cut short by people not treating firearms like they're loaded" but no they actually put bullets in it and shot the dude through a book holy poo poo.

They're so dumb it boggles the mind they lived long enough to reproduce without dying in a tragic shoelace-tying incident or something years ago.

She says the instruction of Billy and the waiter, so I assume they took some time to talk her out of it. Which means that Billy cared enough about not being in public with a woman eating a well-done steak that he got the waiter to back him up on it.

Their 24 Hour Tag is probably one of my favorites if you haven't looked that one up yet. It's basically just 24 hours of them running around a gym and being punished, so there's not really celebrity appearances or jokes about current events you won't get unless you live in Japan.

In 2014, a person with the same name and age as the suspect used a vehicle to smash a Ten Commandments monument on Oklahoma Capitol grounds, law enforcement in Oklahoma said.

Arkansas has not officially confirmed whether the same Reed was involved in Wednesday's incident, Powell said.

I feel like he chose the most boring way to do this. If he pulled up in a bulldozer and ran the monument over I'd be impressed. Or if he somehow convinced the police that the crane he brought was taking the monument temporarily so they could fix a typo and then drop it from three hundred feet. Or if he made a battering ram in the shape of Kali.

Smashing a car into it? There' no pizazz.
