Like £8 a pint last time I was there.
My dad (who lives there), his partner, and I went and got a Subway - just a 6inch sub, drink, and snack each and it came to something ridiculous like £35

e: when the latest playstation came out it was cheaper for my dad to fly to Germany, but one, and fly home, than it was to buy them locally. He also drives to Sweden twice a month to do his shopping because it works out cheaper. poo poo is ridic expensive in Norway

You live in the UK, that means that the UK, as a state, will occasionally have to take actions that impact you, it may be, that in order for the UK to take an international action which is just, such as providing international disaster aid, or allowing people to immigrate if they wish to, that it will negatively impact you.

No you didn't sign up for it, but as you are not a libertarian, I trust you will not explode at this violation of your freedom of association.

I agree with you. Where the UK can assist with things like international disaster aid and such, of course it should assist according to its ability to do so.

Usually, to belong to the category of 'oval office' requires some kind of action on your part. For one, if being consigned to the category of 'oval office' is a direct result of simply being, as opposed to doing, then there is no possible reprieve from being a 'oval office'.

The May tactic appears to be to go to the meetings and announce to those present that there will be a paper published a week later when she's safely insulated from having to deal with their response face to face. I'm not convinced this is really a productive negotiating tactic.
