I loving hate people who don't tip or undertip(though the tip system is bullshit anyway but that's another argument.)

However, I'm not going to poo poo talk a dude who just got a bottle from the bar or club and didn't get it like actually served to him all that much. The putting someone on blast implying something wholly differenr than what happened is more of the punk move in this case.

The bottle didn't just magically appear, so there was some form of service.

Proportional tipping isn't perfect, but it's the best system available until they get rid of the laws exempting restaurant servers from Federal minimum wage laws.

And also make those minimums livable. But the guy got 14 bucks for at most 5 minutes of work so I'm not too broken up for him, it's not like he was detailing a car or something it doesn't take long to grab and open a bottle

I mean I understand being a little miffed because a millionaire didn't give you 20% for handing him an expensive bottle but it's not worth shaming him on social media.

You gave him a bottle you didn't wait on his friends hand and foot and then get stiffed. There's no acceptable tip percentage for buying a bottle of booze. Whiny bitch.

He's been starring on one of the best teams in europe and making the same net money he now is making in the NBA, since he was housed, fed, and paid no tax. Plus he wanted to start. He may start for the Clippers alongside Beverly. He's not going to defend a soul, but he's a good passer, a decent finisher, and a solid shooter.

True, but proportional tipping exists because otherwise you'll get a whole bunch of assholes who'll start to claim that waiters "just carry a plate from the kitchen" or bartenders "simply handed them their beer."

LeBron made the right decision for a number of reasons (#1 being erasing all the bad PR from when he rightly left the first time, and that's coming from a Cavs fan). But, if the ownership keep loving with the team when everyone with a brain knows LeBron recruits and probably pays guys extra off the books I don't blame him for leaving again (though I would once again be very sad).

Dan Gilbert just needs to be an absentee owner who opens the check book to bring in all stars from 2011 that LeBron parties with and hope that GSW get some injuries before the Finals next year.

Most outside CLE had forgotten the bad PR by 2014. LBJ was the "hero going against the boring Spurs." In hindsight LBJ should've gone to GSW in 2015 under the guise of some charitable stuff and then he could've taken credit for turning Curry into the GSOAT.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
I think people who tip bad have a combination of no empathy and high self-esteem (good tipping is a cheap way to feel a bit self-righteous and thus a bit better about yourself temporarily), which sort of lines up with Roberson's shot selection.

I tip $5 on the first drink and then $1/2/3 depending on if it's beer/call drink/cocktails.

I don't go out often and my favorite part of going out to drink is to leave a big tip at the end of the night. It's a curse from doing it for far too long myself.
