This, even with magnetic boots on, your upper body would still experience recoil effect thus throwing off your aim for your 2nd, 3rd, etc shots fired.

I remember years ago, arguing in one of these threads, that :cig: just needed more time to re-write systems for cryengine.

Seems willfully misleading to continue to argue that its a good thing they're still doing the same drat thing all these years later. With Netcode being the thing they're still trying to fix.

It's complicated.

It all started when they got busted pledging the entire company for a payday loan

Then they released recycled bullshit ahead of the bad news that the 3.0 (no longer the Jesus Patch btw) was still a pipe dream

http://dereksmart.com/forums/topic/star-citizen-musings/#post-5501

And when the bad news hit, it ended up that the 3.0 patch now due out around Aug 25th, doesn't even look remotely close to being finished

CIG must be planning on selling outposts on the moons. They'll have some bull about how there are mining/trading/factory/military outposts. They will talk about how they are all interconnected and part of the player economy. The actually design is probably a straight up clone of Garrisons from WoW: Warlords of Draenor. And then offer them up in the store for $2000. For the concept, not quite ready for the pipeline yet. All so they can limp by their loan repayment.

I think the question was more along the lines of "who are the people in space that this person imagines need murdering?" rather than on the functional necessities of murdering people in space efficiently.

Communists and/or Hugo Drax.

Oh, and my theory on the flare gun is that it isn't a flare gun at all. It's a flares gun. You surreptiously shoot it at someone you don't like, and it replaces their legwear with an unfashionable pair of 1970s trousers, thus stopping them getting quests from fashion-conscious NPCs.

Nah, its a Flair gun. Shoot it at people, and out pops plants, or ship models, or fish. Space fish. In Space.

I'm legit surprised they haven't already gone down this route. If they were/are making so much money with chariots then maybe it wasn't such a priority.

Guns, cosmetic skins, flair, special ammo, outposts, mining bases, specialist equipment, more hover bikes, rovers, implants/upgrades etc. There's just untold amounts of stuff waiting to be monetised.
