Steermouse always misbehaved for me, I currently use USB overdrive for everything. It's pretty good. For some logitech mice the logitech driver software stores extra settings in the firmware of the mouse, and you need to connect it to a Windows machine or VM to.configure it back to HID defaults. It took a while to figure out how to stop my mouse from sending keyboard input for certain buttons until I remembered that

when one of our execs left I took his Magic Mouse and boy am I glad I didn't pay for one. it's really bad. Magic Trackpad is EXTREMELY good though. esp the force click one.

the mx master is good except bluetooth takes a few seconds (like 30) to wake up when the computer does. for a few months i thought bluetooth was broken and used it with the dongle
