I figured the size was easy enough to work with, but once I saw that tiny amp, I started thinking about something a bit more substantial. I agree though. Initially I thought about deconstructing an mp3 player or something, but just bluetoothing in from my phone would be much much easier. The more I think about it, the more I want to add stuff like EQ lights that go along with the music or something. I'll be sure to post pics once I get this little project started.

Silvera by Gojira I felt was always appropriate for World Eaters. I just picture wholesale slaughter in slow motion as blood, gore and limbs just fly around them. Third game and I didn't get horrifically crushed by lords of war!  Was a 76 pl game with mostly the same list from last week changing the chaplain out for the new primaris librarian against one of the local tau players with a pretty infantry heavy list; stealth suits, battlesuits, commander and bodyguards, 3x fire warrior teams, and breachers in a devilfish. We played a game of blitz because why not with him choosing defender after winning the roll off.  Got reasonably lucky with the preliminary bombardment dealing 5 wounds to his devilfish which got finished off by half my army peppering it with bolt rifles and krak grenades and then completely flubbing the charge and losing a couple of intercessors to the following turn of shooting. He'd sat his stealth team in cover fairly close to my forces at the start which lead to my contemptor getting buffed by veil of time to murk half of them in the first turn, then next turn rushing into the fire warrior teams on the central ruins and smashing half of a squad to paste before they fell back out of combat with him until he was gunned down by the commander and bodyguards, exploding killing a couple of mans in each team. Which lead to one of my intercessor squads making a huge charge into the central ruins, beating one squad to death and piling into the other. He deep striked his crisis team waaay in my back and they finished off my hellblasters after 2 of them exploded trying to overcharge but after that they were so far away they couldn't really get much done for the rest of the game. The real turning point was my librarian pulling off 2 smites dealing 5 and 1 mortal wounds on the crisis bodyguards and softening them up enough for my intercessors and inceptors to clear the last bodyguards and charge the commander with my captain flubbing the charge due to me neglecting to use veil on him. got the captain into the fight the following turn but failed to really do much to the commander despite using the fist on him. After that the owner wanted to close and we had to call time half way through round 4 with me at 5 units over the line at 4 units down which we deemed a draw since had he killed the 2 remaining intercessors by the commander it'd be 5-5 and he was unlikely to finish off anything else I had.

Sorry to kind of ignore your post, but is this quality level of terrain/table at stores normal? I see a lot of pictures of people playing on what I would consider low quality tables, and that is one thing when its your own table and you might not have the time or resources to get make something nice, but a store should at the very least have fully painted terrain and something a little nicer than the sad little hill. Maybe I am spoiled because I build a lot of terrain and spend as much time on boards as I do models, but I can't imagine getting excited about putting my models, that I have spent dozens if not hundreds of hours on, on some half assed table like that.
