I didn't know about the part where US subs used gravimetry, and I didn't know that that was what the gov't may have been wanting to talk to Clancy about. I was referring to how the Japanese were eventually able to build a ship that was powered by a magneto-hydrodynamic drive.

If she just found one, she would not stand out as exactly who everyone who hates her thinks she is, and she couldn't do it. She lost by such a microscopic degree, it's insane. She only had to do so little to not be an epic failure, and she couldn't do it.
