NY sports media are mostly a bunch of bozos when it comes to hockey, especially since Gorton took over and runs a tight front office. Brooks is an old grump, Cyrgalis is a snarky hack, and somehow Zipay and Staple never managed to get any connections to the Rangers despite Newsday being owned by them for years. All of them have been pretty sloppy in their reporting recently, though, but no hit pieces or wild trade speculation.

Zipay never got any connections probably because I'm sure everyone in the entire league, let alone the Garden, is aware that he's the world's biggest dink

I'm so loving glad that bozo Lawless is out of Winnipeg and going to Vegas. The amount of times I heard him get pretty basic NHL rules wrong was mind boggling. Maybe hiring a football insider that knows nothing about hockey was a bad idea?

The Detroit media is incredibly in the tank for Ken Holland, all coming out in force this week to defend picking Dennis Cholowski over Jacob Chychrun.

I was talking to a friend last night who played hockey with some dude who is the personal trainer of some hockey players during the summer. My friend told me that apparently Seguin drivers a Ferrari with pylons in the car, so that when he parks it, he just puts the pylons around the car. I don't care if this is not true, but I thought it was hilarious.

Hey it's offseason so here are a couple of pictures. A while ago I traded a couple of PJ Stock items and some local carmel corns to a certain someone here for a custom made metal thing. My wfie is a huge fan of Blink 182 and not Stock so he made this for me to give to her as a surprise and she loves it: Also, we have been completely remodeling our basement so that I can put my Penguin Shrine back up. It's almost complete so we put something in the room to see how the colors worked and such. Apparently Meowio Lemew missed Mario because she immediately appeared after I set him up (first time in 3 years) That's my hot take. Rack me. Dollar shave club.

Jim Benning is currently trying to trade Horvat for Brandon Sutter, and will somehow manage to lose both of them while still being on the hook for Sutter's entire salary.
