A goon (FrensaGaren, I think) went up to him at a con and said something along the lines of "I loved you in star trek voyager, shame the rest of the show was garbage" and them promptly snapped that picture. Yeah so is someone going to post this picture now or what?

I remember sitting down with my mom, dad, and sister and watching this show together as a family. We'd all come home and meet in the living room from where ever we were in time to watch it together. My dad and I used to make popcorn (one batch with salt and hotsauce for me and him, and one batch plain for my mom and sister). TV before DVR used to be weird, but it's a fun memory.

I never heard of that but sounds like a great idea. I hate wet popcorn though so it would need to be a powder.

My wife is a popcorn enthusiast and can make it in a regular loving pot, just popcorn and oil and what seems like a never enough shaking. It's like loving witchcraft watching her do it as it never burns. When we use hot sauce, which is always Frank's red hot, is to put the popcorn in a Tupperware thing with a lot of extra space and gently agitate it while dripping hot sauce on. It doesn't get on every piece but keeps it from being soggy.

I'm not quite remembering the question, but it was designed to trick you into answering "Fraiser" with the details unless you keyed into the 'married' part. Unless you're wording the question differently, I'd be raising hell if I was at that trivia and answered "Frasier" and they said it was wrong.

It definitely went downhill after they got together, but it was still such a great moment. They just had to write around it better. They basically dumped all the Standard Sitcom Couple plots on them and it wasn't a good fit.

I hadn't thought of this show in forever and had never heard anything good about it, but I was really pleasantly surprised by it. It is at it's strongest when it sticks closest to a classic farce. I also wanna echo what was said about the greatness of the sets. I was a theatrical carpenter for ten-ish years and the sets are top notch and are amazingly functional. Not just Frasier's apartment, the Maris/Niles lake home and the ski cabin are loving classic door-slamming sets and you could stage Noises Off on either of them.

There are so many excellent episodes, but the radio drama one stands out as being absolute top-top tier. I laughed so hard the first time I watched that sequence, and it's tough for sitcoms to get an actual lol. My Coffee With Niles was also clever as previously mentioned; the S1 finale that takes place all within the cafe in one sequence basically. It would have been really cool if they had done that as one uninterrupted shot, but that would have been insane to do. Roz meeting the parents of her kids and they have huge noses was lol-worthy, as was Christmas with the Moskowitzs, and Daphne's old fiancee coming back and everyone pretending to be someone else. Aaa it's all so good. Overall I think the best character is Martin. John Mahoney nails it so perfectly in so many scenes. "Ooh, HAM!", telling the ex-fiancee he was an astronaut, etc. It's just his small quips and interjections that are delivered so well. Although favorite Frasier scene is definitely the fan script scene from 30 Rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Zffv-FCEYM

the best episode is the halloween episode when roz reveals that she is pregnant which sets up one of the funnier premises of the show's run and roz is dressed as o from 'story of o' quote:Story of O is a tale of female submission involving a beautiful Parisian fashion photographer named O, who is taught to be constantly available for oral, vaginal, and anal intercourse, offering herself to any male who belongs to the same secret society as her lover. She is regularly stripped, blindfolded, chained, and whipped; her anus is widened by increasingly large plugs; her labium is pierced and her buttocks are branded.

My girlfriend and I just finished watching this show. A+ would recommend. My personal favorite bit is when they're in Belize and the hotel tells Frasier they're out of fish. He's being an rear end in a top hat the whole episode but his delivery kills it. Waiter: I'm sorry sir, may I suggest the pepper steak? Frasier: Steak? That's what we should eat at Belize's finest seafood restaurant? There's an ocean full of fresh fish not fifteen feet away, but why not try a slab of artery-clogging, hormone-injected, frozen red meat instead?!?!

The thing about this quote is it takes approximately 1/3 the time to read it as it takes Frasier to say it. (Which is why it's so great.)

It seems like Frasier's usually the more reasonable one, but gets irrational and hilarious when fired up, while Niles is prissy to the point of deep eccentricity but is better at keeping a cool head, all things considered. (though when he snaps he really snaps) Just watcher the episode where Frasier's desperately trying not to sleep with Lillith again, and Niles ends up in bed with her. And also the ski lodge one. Some real gold there. Also the Greek wedding.
