With the already bound to be half arsed Miami El Classico falling further apart by the minute, I graciously offer $10 for tickets to see the fiasco in person. $280 face value for the cheapest seats in the house, absolutely hilarious.

Yeah that was the news that inspired. It was allegedly important enough that my local news app gave me an iPhone alert over it. They usually reserve those for missing kids, presidential fuckups, and storms about to destroy the city.

It always amuses me when random people on the internet say things like 'he's not worth it.' Like dozens of money men/coaches/scouts for the likes of Real Madrid don't have inside knowledge of their finances/the best scouting reports/details of image rights/sponsors etc but the people BTL know more because of YouTube and watching a few games. I read a list of the last 20 broken world records and you could only really deem two of them 'failures' and one was Kaka who wasn't really that. Real breaking transfer records...Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane etc all worked. Even when they bought Modric, Ramos etc they were deemed stupid money. All work. Same with Barca and Neymar, Suarez, Alves. All said (bar Suarez) they their fees were ridiculous. All proved wrong. Turns out these clubs do know a bit of what they're doing. Its weighing up risk against reward. They pay the cash now and there's a good chance they have a star/ballon d'or winner in their team for 12/15 years or they wait a couple of seasons and see and then pay more and miss out on a few years of him. If Barca never brought Messi through after his breakout season, they paid a world record for him, people here would say 'not worth it'. They'd have been wrong. It's nice to pretend we know the goings on of football and to think we're experts but do we really know more than the likes of Zidane who wants him. Do we gently caress.

That's some weird foreplay but it's good that they ask for consent at the end.

There is no big enough Like...you could probably cut that bill in half flying Economy Plus to Barcelona or Madrid, going on vacation there for a week, and finishing it off by going to an actual El Clasico. Hell, even flying Business Class there and doing the same thing you'd probably save some money. Crazy Ted fucked around with this message at 01:25 on Jul 30, 2017 |

It's fun to be on the glass in hockey, but not the best view for the game.
