Someone long ago did a breakdown of the Restoration Hardware and other furniture at the LA office. Stuff like the airplane wing desk, the weirdass lamp Chris has, the work tables the trench coders use, and the oversized maxi pad coffee tables.

I would appreciate that information.

Yeah theres definitely been more since that time. The cafeteria tables for instance are definitely from RH. Theres also lots of non-rh stuff like some of the couches and the space door.

Over the last year or so I recall goons correctly identifying lots of the designer clothes, bags, jewlery and watches worn by Sandi and Chris. I don't think anyone kept track of that stuff but it might be in derek's twitter feed. It's insignificant in terms of the money raised so far but a good indicator of the frivolous spending happening at CIG.

Oh and don't forget the limited edition porche that showed up in one of landos photos.

chris roberts is transitioning away from any game or art design to focus more on company matters (not true, although no one really knows this because no one has directly asked him)
someone close to chris (sean tracy??) will be handling all end stage design and art approvals (again, not true because erin/sean/brian have been involved with these types of role all year now)
expect 3.0 features in 2018 at the minimum (not true, although 3.0 technically has not been delivered yet)
sqlude is still scheduled for this year (speculation - no one really knows the answer)
sqlude is working off a different engine branch than 2.6/3.0 (???) (it's been stated that they'll leverage code and assets from PU, and now lumberyard. Again, speculation).
mocapped assets are undergoing redesigns (again) some mocapped characters have changed due to rewrites, causing dialogue to be re-recorded (Ben and Disco have stated that SQ42 MoCap had been completed for some time now. There are mocap sessions, but these are one-offs for PU).
crawling/wall/fast attacking vanduul were too "problematic," will now stand and fire normally (speculation - literally no information about this at all - yet to be seen).
AI still broken (shooting through walls, instakilling the player, animations not firing correctly, spazzing out into the great beyond on death anim) (not true as we have seen AI updates in recent ATVs and no mention of ongoing bugs/blockers in this regard)
netcode still broken (according to the schedule update, netcode in relation to UI changes is code complete and serialization was bumped out to 3.1)
updated design docs are forthcoming and will detail some (They use Jira, Shotgun and other apps for project management. They've had project designs created and fleshed out for over a year now)
"minor" changes to scope (as is the case with this project since 2012 - not any special news)
larger ships with full player crews will be hamstrung fighting against AI ships until problems are fixed (complete speculation - no way to know)
larger battles are still not possible (2018/2019 minimum) and SC will focus more on smaller player driven skirmishes (complete speculation, although a combination of AWS and a recent release of v1.0 of "yojimbo" by the network protocol company suggests that this isn't really an issue)
end year sales "barely put our nostrils above water" ( historical data shows that end-year sales are always pretty strong/significant. Absolutely no basis for the quote, and without access to the financials, this is - again - speculation).

I'm not sure when you are classifying these as "right predictions" when practically non are true or are complete speculation.

It is shocking to me that you, even for a second believe that Chris hasn't redone the motion captured stuff for SQ42 a dozen times. Literally every art asset has been refactored a million times and most of the time that's all they've shown in AtV for the past year. You should be calling Agent out for making such an obvious prediction instead of trying to refute something that "technically" neither of you know.

There have been quite a few clips from AtV showing that AI is still broken. This, again, isn't even a prediction. AI is broken. If you really want me to search for a source I'm sure I could find a couple.

Use your brain. Why would a large ship (which currently doesn't work) with a large crew (which currently doesn't work) fighting against AI (which currently doesn't work) somehow work perfectly.

MoMA: It's absolutely just speculation that CIG can't get big battles with lots of players working and you should be ashamed of yourself for thinking that.

CIG: Yeah uh, we're not going to be upping the player per server count for what is likely to be our only patch this year, cause poo poo's hosed.

Star Citizen has messed up my brain and now I can't help but compare everything to Star Citizen. For example, I've been watching Dev Diary videos for Hellblade and I can't watch them without thinking about ATV. Here is a video where they show how they go from mo-cap to animations in a game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhWEozrVDYk

But in place of vague talking, hand waving, and empty explanations, I get the impression of a team that actually understands what they are doing and can explain themselves clearly to us. It's night and day. The developers are constantly talking about how they are making trade-offs against team size and budget. They seem to be finding clever solutions to problems and taking pride in sharing that with us. In 4 minutes I feel like I genuinely know a little more about how games are made.
