Pity, it skipped one of my favorite LSR stories: the duel between Eldridge and Thomas in Arpajon, in 1924. I wrote an article about it! (... in the form of a car suggestion for Gran Turismo. But I'm pretty sure it's the best article on the Fiat Mefistofele you'll find)

No sir. I can just imagine the weirdness going on with that car, justified by "No, you just don't UNDERSTAND the PHYSICS, it will work FLAWLESSLY". No, you wrapped a coolant hose with electrical tape to stop it leaking. That's going to be a problem.

As a EE who works at a company full of EEs, I can confirm that they are mostly boring imbeciles who drive beige Camries. I watched as one tried to watch a YouTube video on how to change a tire on his Honda Odyssey from a basement level parking garage instead of reading his owner's manual. He then got a big floor jack from a security guard, instead of using the scissor Jack and proceeded to start jacking up on the plastic rear bumper cover.

Yesterday whilst sat at the pub I saw an Ultima Can Am like this one blitz past. I heard it about a mile away first. It sounded loving sweet. Thennnnnnnn cycling home I came across a loving oldschool Viper waiting to cross traffic, that thing was wiiiiiiiiiiiiide and also sounded loving sweet. I'm not sure whether it was a 1st or 2nd gen but it's one of 2 I've ever seen on the road over here.

Never seen the Superlight before, outside of the too huge front lights I quite like it. MR setups offer a nice packaging solution and cooler shapes for cars IMO.

I hadn't been paying much attention to it because I assumed it would be all ponderous trophy trucks, I had no idea the reality was closer to silhouette dune buggies ripping through the countryside. It's pretty much impossible to get reliable specs as they're all kit cars (they're entered with the chassis manufacturer as the manufacturer name and the engine manufacturer as the model name), with the occasional production car thrown in. Like at 3:18 in this video, that sure looks like an actual 6R4, and I'm not terribly good at telling engines apart by ear, but it sounds like the NA V6 it's supposed to have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FIwWHUXrb8&t=198s e: OTOH #182 is registered as a "KARL'S CAR Bmw" so, just another kit car Humbug posted:Looks like tube frame prototypes and cc/weight limits where sub 2000 cc is probably the optimal.
