The Tony podcast on Bobby isn't bad. Some funny Bobby stories, mostly narrated from his book. It was heartbreaking when Tony talked about reconciling with Bobby, and Heenan telling him to call him a few times... then Tony just doesn't call him. Like it seemed that Bobby really just wanted to be friends with Tony, but Tony is just too anti social and aloof.

Does anybody have a clue what point Sempervive was trying to make on Wrestling Observer Live with the derail about Conor's sparring partner throwing him under the bus being a work? Because he seemed to change the point he was trying to make/the facts he was attempting to argue about 4-5 times and I honestly couldn't follow what the hell he was actually trying to say. Usually he's fine if a little long-winded but every so often he seems to get in one of these moods where he just won't let go of being contrarian purely for its own sake.

Okay to me it sounded like his original point was that there would be wrestlers out there who thought the sparring partner talking poo poo about how he knocked Conor down as well was PART of some greater work Conor or the promoters were pulling. So I was as baffled as Alvarez as to what possible benefit or reason Conor or the promoters could have for making Conor look even more out of his depth than he already was by Floyd. Semp's shifting point of argument didn't help matters, as I'm fairly certain at some point he was acting as if Bryan was the one who said that in the first place and he (Semp) was the one who was calling it foolish. But I really struggle to follow him when he gets like this, because he's already so predisposed to interrupt his own points to acknowledge and counter any possible counter-argument somebody might have, and he sometimes does it so long he forgets he was arguing AGAINST that counterpoint and starts enthusiastically arguing for it and making fun of people who believe the opposite (i.e, himself when he first started talking).

Yea that part I wasn't really able to follow fully. Sempervive strikes as the kind of guy who will cling to all sorts of straws rather than admit that the other guys point is more valid.
