I had partial success with Super Clean, but be careful when scrubbing because it won't get it all and some of it is bonded to the plastic, so if you're too aggressive you can really gently caress the model up. Just go over it with a toothbrush until it's Good Enough (tm) to re-prime lightly for a painting surface.

Correct, his master of battle bubble is 12" and affects all imperial units.

I don't mind a little pinning here or there, but c'mon- I had to do this because the FW tail stubs are nowhere near enough. These and the landing fins both needed pinning, and even now I worry I'll need to do the same to the tail booms eventually.

super clean's worked fine for me.

You might want to leave it in for longer if its really bad, though.

edit: Also finally got my Pop Goes The Monkey shoulder insignia in. Shapeways is kinda pricey but these things fit on the pads perfectly and look great.

I find myself content between 1850-2000 points with lots of commander spam.
I've got 1850 now, and I think I'd add a couple piranhas or maybe stealth suits to get there.

Aside: in the future, I'd like to have maxed out seeker missiles on all my tanks and piranhas, what's the best way to get more seeker missiles?

The core of my list is four Strike/Breacher Squads and their Devilfish, which understandably eats a big chunk of points. I get one unit each of Broadside, Crisis, Ghostkeel, and Stealth, and it feels a little bit disjointed at the end.

:wom: will blow your mind.
It seems like Oblits are staying the same points, but their guns are now Assault 4 instead of Assault 2.
Mutilators are now 50ppm instead of 65.
Possessed are the same cost but Wound:2

So that's some love for units that never had much attention from players, at least this edition.

I guess I might as well post the rest of the point changes while I'm here, I have not seen them in the thread yet:
Bikers- 25 pts (-6 pts per model)
Cultist- 4 pts (-1 pt)
Lord in termi-105 pts (17 less)
Pred-90 pts (12 less)
Vindi-135 pts (25 less)
Defiler-152 (60ish pt decrease)
Lord of Skulls-365 (100 pts less)
Maulerfiend-140 (9pts less)
Mutliators-50 pts (15 less)
Noise Marines-15 pts (1 per guy)
Plagues-19 pts (2 per model)
Warpsmith-45 pts(-33 pts)
Abbadon-240 (-13 pts)
Kharne-160 (-13 pts)
Bloodletters/Daemonettes-7 pts (-2 per model)
Horrors- 8pts (-2)
Blue no change
brimstone-3 pts (+1) only thing that costs more
plagues-7 pts (-1)

Weapons:
Baleflamer-30 pts (-30 pts)
Blastmaster-20 pts (-8)
Hades AC-25 (-8 pts)
Reaper-15 pts (-3 pts)
Soulreaper-15 pts (-5 pts)

Melee:
Daemonic axe-10 pts (-35 pts)
Helforged sword-10 pts (-32 pts)
L claws-8/12 (-1 pt)
plague sword-1 pt (-2 pts)
power fist-12 pts (-8 pts)

There was a lot of 'power' decreases to keep up with the mild-big points decreases, but I don't remember them all. That one guy here who was upset about warptalons will be happy they are 1ppm cheaper because of the lightning claw changes and they are 2 power cheaper, at least their starting power, not sure how it changes as the unit size goes up.

I have made the changes to my personal google spreadsheet that I use to make my weird looking lists. I will continue to work on that for those few people who wanted a copy of it, I keep tweaking the format a bit here and there to make it more legible and pleasant. I'm working on a simple way to print it too, since that can be a pain sometimes.

Do the rim in Steel Legion Drab or something similar. The black makes it seem a little unfinished and it doesn't contrast enough with the armour - makes it sort of blend together instead of really framing your nice paint work.

Throw on some greenery/a few tufts of static grass and you're good to go!

There needs to be a drop pod strategem or hq that offers some kind of benefits like a preliminary bombardment or something. Like when you launch a pod you can fire whatever the new barrage equivalent is.

Drop Pods need to be easily 20 points cheaper than they are now. Jump packs, which come with advantages besides just getting to the field, are only 2 points per model. There's no drift from deep strike, so the #1 advantage of Drop Pods is completely gone, but they're still 40% more expensive than a Rhino for... reasons.

Yeah they should have some kind of extra benefit. I mean even giving units that arrive by pod a single turn buff or some poo poo. Call it descent of angels or some snappy grimdark words and give all units arriving by pod a 3+ cover save for a turn on account of the plumes of poo poo flying into the air as they impact.
