If that is the problem, this car could move under its own power for the first time in a while. I should be excited about that, right? I think I'm way more nervous than I am excited, though. I mean, I've replaced a ton of poo poo on this thing and I'm just super nervous about everything making GBS threads itself when it's put under the stress of motion. Take it slow, it'll be fine. If something is wrong, you'll know it and you'll know what to fix. It's always a big moment on that first start/drive/etc after doing a lot of work. All of us gently caress stuff up and have to pull it back into the garage at times.

Strawberry jam, sour cherry jam, blueberry jam, and blueberry peach spiced jam. Also made our own craisins and we froze a few pounds of berries for smoothies this winter. I'm looking into picking up some dry ice and trying some freeze drying too, but it looks like I might have to do it under vacuum?

Also holy poo poo I just got this server from ebay and I've been trying to learn linux in a trial-by-fire type situation. I installed proxmox on it and then created an ubuntu container and an ubuntu vm with gnome on it and at some point will be dicking around with gns3. Any seasoned linux folk wanna give me some ideas on poo poo to do that will help me learn?

Any seasoned linux folk wanna give me some ideas on poo poo to do that will help me learn? I don't know what any of those words mean but I would be down for cooking stuff. I got my little Traeger wood pellet smoker a little over a year ago and I am completely obsessed with it. I have killed more than 200 pounds of wood pellets with it so far. I smoke generally 15 pounds of pork shoulder at a time. The best thing to do is with the leftover pork is the following:
I would suggest a Hecho en Mexico Coke from the bottle, with fresh squeezed lime juice in it for good measure. This was my Saturday afternoon. I now need to smoke more pork shoulder because I have none left.

I need to start freezing more of my smoked meats. Instead, I try to eat them as fast as possible from the fridge leftovers and get sick of eating it after a couple days and throw half of it away.

I mean, I've replaced a ton of poo poo on this thing and I'm just super nervous about everything making GBS threads itself when it's put under the stress of motion. Doing major work on a car, especially several major things all at once, can be somewhat daunting, and depressing if things don't go right, certainly. This kind of stuff is a sizable investment, in time and effort, (and pride!) if not money. There's definitely potential for a lot of setbacks and failure, but the feeling you get when it does go right is fantastic, and you know it's all yours. Sort of like programming, really, with a lot more actual sweat and grease. I try to take it one repair or system at a time if at all possible, to keep the momentum going, but I realize that's not always an option, such as with restorations, or when the repairs are interrelated. All I can really offer is: don't get in a rush. Do your best to make sure you;ve covered all the bases, tightened all the bolts, etc. I find that checklists ala Roadkill help - just did that doing a stereo system install in my friend's car. We had so many things going on that had to be installed and wired together that I had to make a list to keep track of all the things that needed to be done, especially since he had to take the car back home overnight when we couldn't get it finished in a day. If a thing doesn't work, try to fix it. If it keeps frustrating you, take a break and work on something else, if you can (sometimes, it's your daily driver and you need to be at work tomorrow...). Ask for help if you need it. Working on cars, especially old cars, is definitely emotional. BigPaddy posted:http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/downloads/7.6/LFS-BOOK.pdf I'm probably never going to do that, but I''m snagging that book for reference anyway. Thanks!
