These articles always suck. It's like they are written by people that don't follow the NFL. Yeah our QB is from North Dakota and likes to hunt. Boy he really nailed us there.

We already had the NFC East dumpster fire series which is like the same idea only written by someone who watches the teams.

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!

It is true that Wentz is probably bad and we will live in the toilet forever.

The YTTS series loving owns and gives me lots of laughter and then accurately predicts how every season will go for every team without actually providing a record prediction

Seriously though, I wish there were critiques in that article that caused even a little bit of emotional response in me other than "Oh, this is dumb. I'm wasting my time reading it."

Cowboys will be fine w/o Zeke for 6 games (and who knows if he even serves that this season with an appeal and possible litigation). Our line and Morris/DMC waiting in the wings can handle that load.

so you're asking if it's possible for a team to go 0-0-16 and then make the playoffs and run the table

The problem is that the NFL taking matters into its own hands further fucks the justice system by creating an avenue for them to go "gently caress it, the NFL will handle this" when players are involved in issues of domestic violence or other criminal matters. And that's before you consider that the NFL or its organizations are often complicit in tampering with the original investigations in the first place. It's not "The NFL getting it right," it's "the NFL taking the power away from the justice system" which, even if the justice system is hosed, still has boundaries laid out in the constitution and isn't an arbitrary process with punishments decided by one guy based on how badly the alleged crime will hurt ticket sales.

Mr. Brady please go home, we'll get an uber for you.

This is one of the dumbest rants I've seen here and I'm positive you're not getting raked over the coals for it because no one else bothered to read it. NFL players don't get away with crimes because they get suspended, NFL players get away with crimes because they're loving loaded.

No one wants to deal with a wealthy defendant with the best lawyer in the state who actually will take every thing to its legal extreme and destroy you if you hosed anything up.

I think professional athletes should get off for non-violent crimes in their hometowns and the cities they play for and cops that arrest them are dicks.

Apparently it was a very emotional day for the Eagles with Jordan Matthews. A lot of the team went out to dinner with him yesterday to say goodbye and Wentz was the one who drove him to the airport. 😕

Oh I have permission? Richard Sherman only covers part of the field, holds like crazy, and is on PED's.

Russell Wilson is a moron and word on the street is that he cheated on his wife but she confided in Golden Tate's wife hence the bad blood.

Also Pete Carroll did 9/11 and pretends it didn't happen to throw everyone off his trail. Think about it.

Edit:. I hope everything is great with the little one and the Seahawks' plane crashes into Rainier. Football!

Apparently Ronald Darby has been blowing everyone away at camp in this extremely short time. Just his presence has elevated the game of all of the secondary. Had an INT today and almost had another after that. Still, obviously, hardly knows the scheme.

Howie for MVP.

Also, small, but noteworthy. Malcolm Jenkins has personally been targeting Nelson Agholor in practice. Making sure to always cover him, getting in his face, being super rough with him. Challenging him more than anyone else to take over Jordan Matthews's old role.

So what you are saying is the Eagles are on course to defend the Offseason Champ title.

If you put a gun to my head and demanded my season prediction for the NFC East...I want to believe the Eagles will take the next step, and the Cowboys will have to play from behind after their number of suspensions to squeak by in the wild card.

It's just a feeling a get going into this season. I just don't expect Eli to look good, and somehow the Redskins will find a way to regress. Both teams will split their series with Dallas though, somehow. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I expect an even shittier Cowboys defense this year.

I really liked the way Mathews ran and I was always hoping for a miracle where he wouldn't get hurt, but the safe bet was that he'd get hurt again.

I wonder if his injury issues can be blamed solely on football. Mathews is really into motocross so he's probably had some pretty impressive wipeouts there.

Honestly, there's not a whole lot of holes left on the Eagles starting offensive and defensive rosters after this Darby trade. At least on paper.

We're looking goooood!

Eagles were also very deceptively much better last year than their record said. Even with one of the toughest NFL schedules of any team in a long, long time, they still came out with 7 wins. Only 2 of their losses were by more than one score. More than often it was by a field goal.

We had 9 pythagorean wins last year despite 7 actual wins which tends to correlate with improvement the next year.

I thought this was a good summary of why people might feel this way:

quote:

Way back in March, if I were to tell you the Philadelphia Eagles would be able to upgrade at quarterback, wide receiver, defensive end, cornerback, safety, and arguably another position here or there, while somehow ending up with more salary cap space on the final day of training camp in August than they had before free agency began, you'd probably say I was crazy, right?

Well, that's exactly what the Eagles did.

Off-season Champions baby!
