You might be able to talk Barry into eating it, though. Iirc he ate the ten year old hot dogs.

ToxicFrog posted:Huh. Here it's "white or whole wheat" or sometimes "white or brown". "brown bread" refers to a molassesy, bran heavy bread here, exponentially more so the farther east you travel. I also live where Wegmans started out, so "wheat" and "whole grain" can be ordered separately in most restaurants

I think they tried to fake a molten chocolate cake by dumping a bunch of chocolate custard in the middle of a bundt cake.

Scarodactyl posted:They specifically did not do anything to the fruitcake itself per the article. Oops, you're right, they did things to everything else but the fruitcake. I'd read the article earlier and remembered they did a lot of preservation but forgot that they didn't do anything to the cake proper.

Nah Ashens almost always tries stuff unless it's pretty clearly going to poison him. I'm trying to remember what he ate that was like 50 years old and caused him to violently puke almost immediately

Last Christmas we had a Christmas cake I that I had baked in November 2015 and it was about as delicious as a fruitcake can get. Which is not very in my opinon, but the fruitcake fans in my family thought it was amazing. Now the family rule is that I bake the Christmas cake 14 months ahead instead of the usual 2-3 months. And none of that seeding the cake with booze shite, it only makes the top claggy. Pookah has a new favorite as of 12:02 on Aug 15, 2017 |

Based off of how regular Steve's videos seem to be, with a lot in a short period and then a couple weeks of gap, and how cut he is - I think he only eats rations when bulking, which makes sense with how high-intake they are.
