It's a Cummins diesel, from the looks of it. They have oil coolers built into the radiator, I think, that could have failed. Or a blown headgasket.

I've read that reline water wetter and similar products can do something along those lines.

Not that I know of. Water wetter, mocool, etc, are good and useful in some situations. And they are listed as being compatible with pretty much all coolants.

Stop leak put into a radiator that's connected to a blown head gasket?

At one point I was convinced you could pop the locks on my dad's hilux by kicking the door really hard. It didn't work, and he let me do it while watching from the window. And when I came inside later he really let me hear about it.

I distinctly remember driving a Power Wheels jeep into the side of my dad's silver 1987 911 Turbo... he sold it in the late 90's for somewhere in the 30's with 20 something thousand miles. Well, we all know what happened to the price of those.

Our driveway was on a slight towards the house, one day as a small boy I wanted to see what would happen if I took the handbrake off the car. Well the end result was a car piled into the now bent garage door and a mildly annoyed father asking me why I did it.

I've been told I managed to back my moms '64 Dodge Polara ex-cop-car down thee driveway and out into the street, though I don't remember doing it. I would have been under 5 at the time. Apparently, '64 Dodge Polaras don't have shifter interlocks, and I popped it into neutral, and off it went down the slight incline of the driveway. The one I do remember is clambering up the hood and over the roof of my moms '70 SS 396 Chevelle, and my dad getting irate at the footprints on the windshield. I didn't do too much mayhem to other people's cars as a kid. Dad taught me to respect other people's cars (and poo poo), and it apparently took.

Same goes for 80s Cadillacs. You see, grandpa owned a Caddy dealer up until he died (97 or 98?), and his daughter certainly couldn't be seen driving anything but the newest Cadillacs. On a super low mileage lease that barely let her leave the driveway, of course. I made up for the lack of trampoline when I got my license, and promptly blew up a few transmissions for them (don't let a 16 year old behind the wheel of a Northstar, he might pick on a C4 Vette here and there, and may or may not take that beautiful 94 Eldorado to the drag strip...) e: if I ever win the lotto, mom's getting a fleet of Cadillacs to make up for what I did to two of her cars... randomidiot fucked around with this message at 09:42 on Aug 21, 2017 |

I ran in circles around my father's brand-new blue AMC Eagle 4x4 wagon. About 20 times. Dragging a stick against in the whole time. My dad was pissed, naturally, and gave me a tin of ancient wax and a couple of cloths to apply / polish. I was around 5 and had no idea how to do it, and also lacked the upper-body strength to properly apply / polish hard-assed old wax. After what seemed to my five-year-old self like hours, my grandfather (who was fortuitously visiting from the other side of the country) came out to see what was going on, found me in tears with the wax and cloths, and took them away from me. He spent a bit of time showing me how to use it, but ended up doing the whole thing for me while I watched, and learned how to properly care for automotive paint, and we talked about random stuff. Thanks, Poppy. You were a kind and wonderful person, and the world is a poorer place without you. So, yeah. Excuse me, I've got something in my eye, brb.

Of all the things Doug DeMuro does in his videos that irritate people. This one got me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxHfrc60k8M So how in the hell can you be a car guy and think that hibeam/brights foot switch is somehow quirky or unique? Ahcthsually they have a pressurized wiper fluid container. You use the tire pump to pressurize it like a super soaker, or a link hose to use the spare tire

At least in an automatic, it gave that foot purpose and you could rest your foot there when you had your high beams on at the ready to hit the switch when a car was on coming...
