Also I was happy to see you control a tall stacked stubby. Made me feel good inside.

It was confirmed by Yoko Taro at some point (and by "at some point" I mean in the strategy guide, apparently?!) that, not only do Androids have genitalia, but they can choose which kind of genitalia to have, and also whether they have any at all. Android gender is very much a flexible thing, it seems. This also makes all of the porn potentially canon, which is a beautiful thing. Or... maybe not that word. There may be another word I'm thinking of.

I mean considering the OTHER inane poo poo Androids have been saddled with, plug and play modular dongers is on the low end of weird. Earth High Command probably stopped reading the developer notes around the point that the scientists gleefully announced that they'd given the androids the ability to experience depression as a way to to escalate the suffering arms race of the Aliens giving a robot fish the ability to become bored.

Do you have any more details?

Hacking definitely does more damage the higher level you are. It's just that it does a shitton of damage normally anyways.

You know, part of me wishes that Yoko Taro make a new Drakengard game, set in a new timeline where the OG team do beat the space babies and somehow all survive. Now that these ragtag misfits have saved the world, how will they deal with it? How will the world deal with them? Laugh* at the shenanigans Arioch and Leonard take for Seere's sake! *Scream in horror unbridled by sanity or decency.

Elkyrie posted:I see you have forgotten our dragon baby ending up all alone in a dying world? No, but I mean technically Emil has spent millennia fighting a losing battle against the weapons of a dead alien race with no companionship save for automated facsimiles of the species he set out to protect, and Beepy is an amalgamated gestalt mind that barely retains an individual identity or remembers the friend who gave him purpose and a name, aimlessly drifting through space seeking a greater meaning for itself. And Arioch was eaten by giant space babies. My point is that you kind of have to shift the goalposts a bit in this series to get to a happy ending.
