If Nebakanezzer's posts have taught me anything, the punchline of that joke is "8 large German aircraft airborne at the same time".

Maybe that's exactly what the artificial horizon showed as the dog followed it, which is why he's upside down. Woof!

PittTheElder posted:What the hell is the source of the thread title anyway? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germanwings_Flight_9525 quote:The crash was deliberately caused by the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, who had previously been treated for suicidal tendencies and declared "unfit to work" by a doctor. Lubitz kept this information from his employer and instead reported for duty. Shortly after reaching cruise altitude and while the captain was momentarily out of the cockpit, he locked the cockpit door and initiated a controlled descent that continued until the aircraft impacted a mountainside. edit: gently caress, locked out of the cockpit.

The other plane flies straight and level while the pilot leaves the cockpit, stretches his legs, and takes a poo poo.

I also like the version of that joke where the BUFF pilot tells the Viper "I just shut down an engine".
