It's good that D2 explains how to jump high as a Warlock. I don't remember the first game explaining that and I thought the Warlock jump was garbage for the first few hours. Taptap!

So the resources that are spread around the zones. We just turn those in for rep now right? We don't have to gather an insane an amount of them to upgrade weapons and armor right?

Correct. And the tokens are really easy to get so you don't really have to go searching for them like in the first game.

Beat the Nightfall, got Wings of Sacred Dawn from a drop in said nightfall in addition to a heckin bunch of other good stuff including TWO Wicked Sisters from Zavala afterward from all the coins. I am a happy camper. Thanks goonfriends for being the best people to run really fast up an elevator with.

 Hey warlocks, just got a Starfire Protocol and in addition to the extra fusion nade, a fusion nade kill completely refills your rift charge. Seems extremely good for raiding imho. Extremely.

I actually don't like the look of most exotic armor I've seen so far, so if I can just roll with a cool-looking legendary piece and infuse it and not be a terrible anchor dragging everyone down in endgame content, that would be pretty cool.

To be fair, "mandatory equipment" for raids in D1 were for one of two reasons 1) you were doing some sort of gimmick or special ability, like having Touch of Malice for the sisters in the KF raid, or b) you were making up for people being terrible at the game who needed to have the game on easy mode, such as requiring everyone in your raid group to have Gjally or Sleeper. So like, go with whatever you like best and don't worry about it. poo poo like that will be figured out later but if you are a good player who can listen and coordinate well you will probably do well no matter what.

Coldheart is a preorder item that you get after you finish the story and are level 20. Did you both preorder? If so, it might just take logging out and back in, for whatever reason it takes a bit for some people and not for others.

Since it was in the game box, it might have ended up being a "Day 1 Edition" sort of thing and not really a preorder. But you could just be lucky, too.

I also liked that some of the no-name guardians towards the end of the game retaking the City are in old raid gear. Someone was wearing a Vex head.  RIP Speaker. You never told us anything but were probably an okay dude. I avenged him by throwing my shield at Ghaul and donking him in the head. I now have six exotic weapons and two exotic armors, god drat. I remember it took ages to get anything that wasn't from Xur in D1.
