Sometimes it pains me to see people pull apart relatively rare cars to modify them for track use, but at least the end result is often ruddy quick. For example, if I had an Integra, I'd keep it basically standard, I wouldn't strip it out and cage it like DannyDC2 did with his - but he runs a straight 8 minute BTG time, so fair play to him, he's not sat in an Asda car park with stretched tyres and massive camber. Though I'm not a fan of Baur conversions, much rather have a standard E21 or early E30 than that weird halfway house roof they did. The full convertible option people like Lumma did was far nicer.

It also has leaf springs in the rear. 4-wheel disk brakes, though. Fun fact: That Seville also used an EFI Olds 350 small-block - the only time the Olds V8 was fuel-injected. The next generation used the terrible HT4100, and was FWD. Also had that lopped-off trunk. Powershift posted:Silcco: I dig the *gently caress* out of that Lincoln. Your post is full of greatness (especially the Olds, I have a soft spot for them.) But the HT4100...how the hell does GM continually gently caress up mixing different metals and creating reactions with their coolant choices. Probably bean counters, but after the Vega you'd think they would have tossed a few bucks at their later projects.

i was always under the impression that there were different schools of donks. those that are awkwardly way up in the air and those that squat as low as possible on their wheels. but the large-rear end wheels are the common factor. either way, i like when they squat low on their wheels. and generally when they're no larger than 28 or 26s

BraveUlysses posted:Two tone wheels? Nah just grinding curbs harder than Tony hawk Nah that's just how those wheels look from the factory. It's ugly but it would take some effort to grind them perfectly like that. The surface bits are angled inward to the rim and then sharply angled toward the center. They may also have some scraping on them, but the coloring of the wheel was like that before.
