https://twitter.com/SamEkstrom/status/910571117437489154 also Sam is day-to-day. Knee injury was apparently non-contact which started during the Saints game and felt worse as the game went out. so that's... a thing.

Lions goons, looks like we finna have a battle of the bastards this weekend. Looks like Davis, Swanson and Wilson are out for Detroit. Atlanta will be without Beasley, Upshaw and Schraeder.

This means we're in for an Offensive shootout, right?

Q_res posted:This means we're in for an Offensive shootout, right? Potentially. For Atlanta, it means more snaps for Takk and in the limited reps he has gotten he has looked good but Beasley is difficult to replace. Upshaw is purely rotational so the rotation takes a small hit, but we have guys that can play up and down the line so I'm not terribly concerned about losing Upshaw. Losing Schraeder is going to suck. Thankfully Ansah is going up against Matthews.

For Detroit, I'm mostly concerned about Swanson. Davis has been great on defense, but I'm basically expecting the Falcons to carve us up anyway-but with Swanson gone, that means shifting Glasgow to center and bringing in Joe Dahl at LG, which basically means that a whole 3/5 of our offensive line is gonna be sub-par. That kind of injury has the potential to royally gently caress with Detroit's offensive gameplan, and give Atlanta's pass rush a field day on the left side of the line.

It's time to salvage Teddy Bridgewater for parts anyways. Just chop off his knees and give them to Bradford.

Playing without Decker is bad enough, having Dahl in at LG means we probably aren't winning this game. We didn't have a good chance before, but it's going to be ugly with the left side of our line being turnstiles.

Welp. Glad I held off on buying my Cousin's Christmas gift (He wants a Bradford Jersey). Good chance that either he doesn't want it come christmas or it's a fuckload cheaper due to the return of Teddy.

Prediction: Vikings will reactivate Teddy for the Browns game but he'll get hit by a bus in London due to looking left instead of right when crossing the street from his hotel.
