It's counted as BRI so it does go to the players through the higher salary cap or escrow payments at the end of the year .

Probably yes. depending on what that max looks like in terms of years and options, I may match and then trade after the waiting period . I DEFINITELY would not extend a max qualifying offer. (It's possible Wiggins improved every facet of his game this year as well and then signing him to a max seems a lot better.)
