where people pledge allegiance not by pledging to uphold values of liberty and justice, but pledge to stand with it whether it's acting in the right or in the wrong,
where people fondly remember the time when a Capitol Hill cafeteria declared freedom fries for all

Not even they bought it. Her own loving supporters.

But they'll turn around and say any question of her credibility is a sexist smear.

it means join the chant

alternatively, it means to tell the sanders delegates to also join black people in getting gunned down by cops and thrown in jail en masse

This poo poo cracks me up. Hill was clinging to Obama legacy while doing her best to distance from TPP. Meanwhile, Barry was trying to pass it in the final weeks lol

I think it's really cool that it's happening again but this time it's just because someone pointed out that expecting black people to honor a flag of a nation that endorses extrajudicial murder of them is hosed up and there's not even a dogwhistle to defend against it this time.

It's really interesting that no white athletes are taking the knee, and that it's just the suits and non-white athletes

Crazy idea: maybe if your policies are ones that don't make the people "get a little nervous, to say the least", then you don't have to have different public and private positions.

Maybe you could just, you know, have policies that benefit all instead of only wealthy donors.
