I would also still appreciate some danger.

Now I'm curious what the "known for blasting the huge guns" guard units like the Mordians and Valhallans will get, or if the Catachans stole their thunder.

In the above case I just left the flying stand off, painted the base as normal, then glued it on once everything was painted. There's a magnet mounted to the top of it that the speeder is stuck on.

Leave them off until they're painted. Then just scrape away the bit of paint where the flight stands connect to the inceptors and use super glue.

Yeah those suck and top armies all have them, and they won't be changing. Mortars might though which will be a blessing.

I just ordered a bunch of Tempestus stuff and a couple of Basilisks so hoping for not too much change.

I wanted to watch the UK kitchen nightmares, but instead got the American Hell's Kitchen. Imagine my horror. It would be hilarious if it was at all watchable. They say things like "the food should speak for itself!" and then they go 20 minutes without showing any food whatsoever, but you'll get like, CGI robots, the army bringing in a wall that the contestants have to scale and two people getting in a fistfight.

So how are other Death Guard players planning on dealing with tanks/monsters? I figure a pair of entropy cannon Crawlers would go a long way but I feel I should shoot for something else as well. I feel that the prohibitive cost of combi-meltas makes dropping Blightlords too costly (though I like the idea of a tough distraction unit) but I'm not sure where else to look.

The Myphitic Blight things (the trikes/tracked versions of the bloat drones) seem pretty dope. They each have a multimelta and missile launcher. They are also relatively cheap

The way I plan to deal with tanks is a quad lascannon predator or two. Maybe a predator + lascannon helbrute.

The crawlers are really durable though, and cheaper than the predators. Might be a solid option. For pure AT though a quad lascannon predator does about as well as 2 crawlers.

They do seem dope. I'll likely take one to escort my Marines up the table for 2+ all the time, but as it was pointed out they're 142pts after weapons, which is only 14pts less than another unkillable daemon tank with more guns.

No poo poo. I love the layering in it, the little streak that goes down in front of the liquid makes it looks like it's inside the glass instead of painted on.

Thanks!

I pick a spot where I want the liquid to come to, then shade down from that. Then I hit the meniscus with a light line of color and I do a few light colored bubbles around the surface and highlight those a bit with white. Once that's done I do the glass streaks, trying to match the contours of the glass. The streaks are almost always a pair of parallel white lines, though on round surfaces I do a larger dot. If you have time, making that dot fuzzier probably heightens the effect.
