One of the big reasons why I love the Wasteland universe is that the backstory is "What if the Skynet uprising described in Terminator 1, WarGames and Red Dawn(1984) all happened on the same weekend?".

TheGreasyStrangler posted:Man, the ending to Dishonored 2 is just kind of confusingly bland. It's a shame, the first game had a really cool finale that pretty much completely changed depending on how you played through the game. Is the DLC worth getting? Which ending did you take? Low chaos? High Chaos? The DLC is meh. Its not terrible, but I get the feeling that most of the audio is recycled from Dishonored 2 scraps, and that this was just a huge afterthought.

Stellaris robot DLC : It's cool, but sort of tedious since you have to manually build every single drat pop which takes several clicks.

Thats the nice thing in Distant Worlds series. Literally everything can be automated in your empire, while you gently caress around with a single ship triggering events & running the hell away from planet-eaters.

Fired up FTL again, made it to the final sector with absolutely no real strategy outside of upgrading shields, helm and engines, and getting my crew trained up in non-missile engagements where my shields would hold at bare minimum. Then I stumbled across a fire beam and started to win engagements by murdering the crew. Then I decided I wanted cloaking and stealth weapons, but now that I have the latter, the former isn't being sold in any goddamn store, so I'm missing the most important piece of my puzzle and I'm in the last sector. I'm gonna get my rear end handed to me, I'd say.

Pinball FX 3 came out for Steam, PS4, and XBONE a few hours ago. With it came a new 3 pack of pinball tables called Universal Classics; which includes ET, Back to the Future, and Jaws. Usually there is at least one lovely table in their sets but all three of these are really fun.

Beat Ruiner. It's good, short but very re-playable and takes a bit to learn the controls if you're not used to isometric action games but still pretty good. Soundtrack is really good as well.
