you can only do two CRLF in a row, so you'd have to do at least something like .\n\n.\n\n

not in the uk at least. this thread (i think) had a good article on bank fuckups a while back that specificially highlighted that because it was the customers problem the banks didn't give a single poo poo about security. turns out that good security and training costs money, and if they have no risk exposure why bother? unfortunately i can't find the article now or i would re-link it, as it was a really good read.

I'm literally not old enough to remember that time. We always had PIN regardless.

Wiggly Wayne DDS

whenever this topic comes up there's a weird attempt to make it look like chip+pin was always bad for the consumer no matter where it was deployed. end of the day the us doesn't have actual consumer protection and blaming low security barriers for existing is doing more harm than good. a card with copied track data is less and less useful in europe, but it's great for the attacker when an ally country is happy to accept it. if this topic was about 2fa (sms) vs none for sso, where would the arguments be?

no worries friend
Fun Shoe

in theory they should be verifying that actual video data has been streamed, but i doubt that's cookie-cutter with youtube, so requiring timed messages from the client is probably the best they can do, and it sounds like maybe they even have bot-detection countermeasures up (or maybe she just reached the 20 views cap). not sure there's an alternative besides not pretending they can conclusively prevent botting in the first place

lol at tay tay inducing her fans to clickspam her own videos, tho

evil_bunnY

I literally can't remember a time my parents didn't have to use a PIN when they used their CC's. I'm over 35.

a minority of shops had those imprint things and my parents always bitched about them because they'd ruin the chip/strip more often than not.
