I SAID WE'RE NOT GONNA BE FUCKING SUCK THIS YEAR!!!

Unless Petrino has some new allegation they aren't firing him even if it in some weird backwards way makes some ethical sense. He's too good of a coach that has made that team competitive in the tougher of the 2 ACC divisions and produced a Heisman Winner. Maybe he runs because he doesn't want to be around that athletic department as it sinks, but I really doubt they'll move on from him barring his own scandal.

Petrino, Pitino, and Jurich was arguably the sleaziest AD trio in the country and in a scenario where Louisville is cleaning house entirely, its not unbelievable Bobby Petrino would get fired for obvious reasons

There is no evidence he's actually done anything at Louisville, this is a weird dumb thing to think.

Lamar saved UL from a whole bunch of extra losses. We'll see going forward if Petrino can make UL competitive in the Atlantic without a once-a-program player. Good coach but FSU and Clemson are peaking in a big way right now, going to be very difficult for him to keep up.

They would have lost to 2-10 UVA last year without Jackson.

The parallels between ISU/Iowa and UVA/VT are strong except that UVA doesn't randomly beat VT at will. It would drive me absolutely mad if I was an Iowa fan.

Dude has twice elevated Louisville to top 10 status. I don't think he's bad at coaching offense, he also identified and recruited Lamar so give him some credit for identifying what he could be (similarly with Fuente I think will be the case). That defense thing tho probably could have done better than the swap he pulled off this offseason.

To Kirk's credit it's been way less common in the second part of his career. We're on 3 straight with 4 out of the last 5 and 7 of the last 10. Still more often than I'd like (miss you, Hayden) but it's way better than it was at the start of his career.
