Not even gonna attempt to figure out the best Raider ever. Just off the top of my head I could make solid arguments for at least 10 players.

If you go by Career AV (I wouldn't, but for the sake of argument), it's Jim Otto (154) just ahead of Gene Upshaw (151) and Tim Brown (143). The funniest list I've found so far looking at teams that way has to be the Buccaneers: 194 - Derrick Brooks '95-'08 151 - Ronde Barber '97-'12 127 - Warren Sapp '95-'03 90 - John Lynch '93-'03 Top 4 players all at the same time, all on the same side of the ball. Bills are the same (surprised about OJ) 196 - Bruce Smith '85-'99 136 - Thurman Thomas '88-'99 132 - Jim Kelly '86-96 132 - Andre Reed '85-'99

Let's see if we can build a team out of the 32 top players by AV for each team QB - Tom Brady, Dan Marino, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, John Elway, Brett Favre, Jim Hart, Drew Brees RB - Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders RB - Walter Payton WR - Jerry Rice, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, WR - Jimmy Smith, Steve Largent, Don Maynard TE LT - Anthony Munoz LG - Bruce Matthews C - Jim Otto RG - Will Shields RT - Mike Kenn DE - Bruce Smith , Carl Eller DT - Merlin Olsen DE - Reggie White LB - Derrick Brooks, Junior Seau LB - Lawrence Taylor LB - Ray Lewis LB - Clay Matthews CB - Darrell Green CB S S Okay, so we have a few too many quarterbacks, and a little problem in the secondary, but it's okay because the opposing team would die immediately to our 4-5 defense. I'd say play Elway at TE, but come the gently caress on, we're totally wishboning this offense with Barry / Emmitt / Walter.

Elway and...maybe Jimmy Smith or one of the other receivers will have to play corner/safety in a 46 defense?

Its Steve Largent and Warren Moon. Jerry Rice is the second best receiver in Seahawks history, Owens is third.

If we're including old man era Sammy Baugh was an awesome old timey player. Modern era for the Skins would be Darrell Green. 19 straight seasons with an interception.

Receivers just have to play cover on defense since we will be rushing the ball every down. I don't know what we do with all the QBs. Special teams I guess.

I think Romo was the best QB to ever play for Dallas and the only competition there is Staubach. Witten and Novacek are pretty much tied for TE. Ditka was a beast back in the day, but I don't think he's up to the level of Jay or Jason especially since he only played a couple of seasons with Dallas. WR is Irvin and I can't even think of anyone else close. Should have been Moss, but Jerry is a moron. RB Emmitt and no one else even near him. FB Moose is an easy choice. On the defensive side of the ball there's Deion in the secondary with Ware and Charles Haley for LBs, but I'm not really able to pick any other positions off the top of my head.

If we're talking about where they stand at their position in history, there's a good case to be made that Larry Allen is the greatest Cowboy of all time.

Fred Taylor or Jimmy Smith for the Jags. Both have borderline HoF numbers. (Jimmy has better numbers than some WRs already in, actually)
