Im quite gutted about Kriss. I really liked his writing. I don't think the " we had sex before" defence is going to fly really, so on behalf of slavering brocialists everywhere I bid gently caress off forever to massive house vodka strangler. Ok to help me get over my disappointment here's my attempt at making light of the situation: Maybe in a kinder, more 70sish age we could have given him the old " have you seen Chinatown" treatment heh.

It's definitely "most men" in the sense that there are very few models of good consent in our popular culture that men can aspire to, but I'm reluctant to believe it's a smooth continuum between the poor consent practices of "most men" and socially unacceptable predatory behavior like repeatedly publicly groping a woman as she refuses you. I'm sure 99% of the guys busted for this barely ever thought 'oh I'm sexually assaulting these women'. The dudes willing to excuse it with 'oh that's just how he is' or 'well did you lead him on' are what makes creeps justify their behavior to themselves and continue victimizing people.
