Characters in Star Wars shouldn't be dyeing their hair because that makes me think of fashion which makes me think of mass media and popular culture which shouldn't be a thing in Star Wars. Like, there's no Internet or TV in Star Wars.

It's a sports bar. Sports are being played on the TVs. The patrons are watching droids play something that looks like football. Also other programs. It's a good scene.

There was a middle class in Star Wars for over a thousand years, in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire.

How do you know her hair is dyed? Humans can manifest magic powers, don't see why they couldn't also have natural pink hair. Also Padme changed her makeup, hair, and outfit 50 different times throughout the prequels but Laura Dern's hair is a problem?

Leia was princess of Alderaan because her adoptive mother was queen of Alderaan. She was not Naboo royalty for two reasons, 1) her relationship with Padme Amidala was kept a secret, even from her and 2) Naboo monarchy is elected, not hereditary.

There is absolutely internet in the Star Wars universe.

It’s the HoloNet. Though it was less of a website-based internet and more of a communications network.

Palpatine took it offline when he took over, though, because he didn’t want to make it easy for systems to conspire against the Empire.

IRL a bunch of prominent noblemen stand for election when the old King/Emperor dies. Depending on the nation in question all the Dukes and Counts plus some Bishops get to vote on who becomes the next head of state. In the HRE the electors gradually shrunk down to a small number of important Dukes/Princes and Bishops who got to vote and everyone ended up voting in the same family for about 400 years. In the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth all the landed nobles got to vote and it caused some shennanigans.

I don't know how it works in the Star Wars though.

e: Just look up the history of the Holy Roman Empire for the most prominent example.

All the shields on this bird represent member states of the Holy Roman Empire but only the rulers of the larger shields at the top got to vote in the new emperor. Starting around the middle of the 1400's they always ended up electing a member of the ruling family of Austria, the Hapsburgs as the emperor.

The Naboo monarchy is basically just an elected democracy with monarchy-inspired names.
