So almost certainly Kubica/Stroll 2018 with di Resta on standby. Williams should let Massa retire in Brazil and put The Kube in for the last race

If Williams sign Kubica I'll buy a Williams hat. Again. If they sign DiResta I'll not buy another hat. Because gently caress him.

Toxx updates? A month for me if it’s not Kubica. A month for Theophany if it’s not di Resta. A month for Andrew Benson if it is Kubica.

For the record (mostly my records), the following have toxxed on the 2018 Williams seat: -Wirth: Kubica gets the seat, otherwise a month off -Theophany: Paul di Resta gets it, otherwise a month off -GramCracker: Kubica gets the seat, otherwise a month off -NtotheTC: A month if Kubica gets the seat.

So either I’m gone for a month or Benson. This thread wins either way.

Well, as it stands, someone will survive. At most, three can get a month off because Kvyat for some odd reason is in the mix for talks.

So is Wehrlein and Ericsson. That’s not happening. It’s down to Kubica and di Resta.

I did give them the opportunity to reduce the time to a month via donations though, so they'll have 2 weeks following the conclusion of the season to do so, otherwise I'll probably put down 11 years and have an admin adjust it down.

Lance is going to be back, especially when his dad is bankrolling everything. I honestly have no drat clue who is going to take Massa's seat, but if Massa is done after Brazil, it would allow them to give Kubica an actual in-race test this season like they did with di Resta (though that was by chance in this case).

GramCracker posted:Lance is a two time podium finisher, he’ll be the No. 1 driver for sure Where was this mythical 2nd finish? Also can someone please explain again how Stroll dominated Formula 3? I vaguely recall the accusations that his dad basically hired a bunch of engineers and people to set up the car that were far, far above F3 standards and the other teams accused them of cheating the system or some such along those lines. Like Prema had double the amount of people vs the other teams thanks to Papa Stroll.
